A great day
Abigail had a doctor's appointment Friday, and it was a great day.
She's just short of 9 pounds, and everything looks so good that she doesn't have to go back until January. While there, we got two great pieces of news:
1. Her mild ROP (an eye problem that many preemies have) is gone, so she won't need monthly eye checks anymore.
2. She no longer has to be on oxygen. It's great to see her face and to not have her attached to cords!
We're keeping her heart/breathing monitor for two weeks for use at night. If there are no problems, we'll get rid of it then!

Very, very good news guys!
Are new pics coming?
How's work, school, etc.? And... when will the newest Cook be making her first appearance in Searcy?
There is a package headed your way. I just mailed it today so it should arrive before Thanksgiving.
Rick: I've just posted some new pics.
Everything is going well, but we're burning the candle at both ends, of course.
Sadly, it's hard to see when we'll be back in Searcy. Our travel time is going to be dominated by family who won't appreciate not seeing Abigail as much as possible.
If you guys are up in Ohio anytime, let us know!
Melody: Thanks in advance!
Wonderful news! The pics are great. Thanks for sharing...
