Let's Go (Lady) Bisons

And now a sentence I never thought I'd be able to type: If the season ended today, not only would everyone be shocked, but the Lady Bisons would be in the Division II NCAA Tournament as the No. 6 seed in the South Region.

After some midseason struggles, the preseason GSC-West favorite Bisons have some serious work to do if they want a shot at a NCAA bid.

Both teams host UAM tonight for a doubleheader that was "snowed" out Thursday.

Oops. I spoke too soon about the Lady Bisons, who lost despite a valiant comeback attempt. But any loss to UAM is a bad one.

The Bisons dominated UAM in the late game. Where were the Rowdies, though? The box score put attendance at less than 2,200.

Crowd is starting to fade. Been that way all year. Never even heard a mention of the Henderson game (people needing tix, etc.). We just walked right in and found comfy seats.

Last night's crowd was pathetic (still twice as good as anyone else in the GSC, but still...)

Hopefully, it'll pick up in the last few home games.

As for the Lady Bisons, you had to know a game like last night's was due.
They are really fun to watch, though. Very, very athletic!

People want to see a winner. So the Bison's need to get it in gear. Good for the women though, now that they have a solid coach.
