17.5 pounds!
Abby had a follow-up appointment with her surgeon today, and the mere fact she's up to 17.5 pounds had him convinced that everything is fine. That's right: 17.5 pounds!
It's April, which means Abby now has been released from her virtual house arrest that was cold and flu season. We've taken her freedom quite seriously, taking her on our weekend trip to visit Jake and Lyz in Cincinnati over the weekend and then showing her off to Katrina's friends and colleagues at OSU today.
Next up is her first Sunday worshiping at our home congregation here in Columbus. We're looking forward to it, of course. It will be interesting to see how she handles it, although her response to larger groups of people thus far has been good.
Abby's latest photos are here.

Just had to point out that my 11 month old is only 17.4 lbs! What are you feeding her and where can I get it? I keep trying and my little girls just don't seem to gain!
Congrats! Let's go for 20 now!
Abby takes Similac NeoSure, which is designed for premature babies and has more calories than regular formula.
You're not supposed to use it without a doctor saying to, though.
I think that's what we used to use when making snowcream.
