= only 4 months of optimism for Cubs fans until harsh reality sets back in
If the Cards can win the World Series after barely cracking .500 in the regular season, anything is possible.
And we can't help the optimism; it's genetic.
(Please note this post does not mean I think the Cubs have been particularly smart with all of their moves this offseason.)
